Plans for the 2011 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon are underway and will take place on October 16, 2011!
Last year, with the help of 20 Lunenfeld staff, along with over 85 other fundraising participants, over $57,000 was raised in support of Mount Sinai Hospital. And by signing up for this year’s race, you can help support the critical cash needs of the Institute.   
If you haven’t registered yet, be sure to register and start fundraising!
Registering is now a streamlined 1 step process:
  1. Register for either the 5km, Half Marathon or Full Marathon at
    1. When you fundraise for Mount Sinai Hospital, you are eligible to take advantage of registering for your event at a discounted rate – register as a Charity Challenge runner and use the pin code 11SGCC.
    2. Once you complete registration, a confirmation screen will appear. Click “Submit” and your information will be transferred to the Charity Challenge fundraising system.
    3. Once you click “OK”, you will be redirected to the Charity Challenge Fundraising Page. You are now set up to fundraise online! Personalize your fundraising page by clicking on the Customize Personal Page link on the left hand side.
If you raised more than $500 last year, you’re eligible to register for free for this year! Contact Taline Artinian at for your free registration pin code.
By registering in the Group Charity Challenge and raising funds for Mount Sinai, you are eligible to receive great incentives for reaching fundraising milestones. You can keep fundraising post-race until October 31st, 2011.
