Overview:

This course will cover many current topics that arise in current GWA efforts through lecture-based seminars and practical exercises. At the end of the course, students will have familiarity with rare variant analysis, 1,000 Genomes imputation, parent-of-origin effects, Mendelian randomization, copy number variation (CNV), epigenetic measures, and GWA analysis of repeated measures data.

Prerequisites:

Students should have basic knowledge of genetics and statistics. Familiarity with R and LINUX is also required.

Course Fees:

Students: $650 + HST

Non-students: $750 + HST

**Note: Course fees include dinner with the Course Lecturers at the University of Toronto Faculty Club on Wednesday, May 30.  Course fees do not include hotel accommodation.
