Clinical Research Services

Contract and Clinical Research Facilities and Services are provided through MSH’s Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (PLM), operating GLP certified laboratories fully accredited in Canada and the US. PLM provides a wide spectrum of services for basic, translational, and clinical research to meet the needs of the biomedical industry including consultation on project feasibility assessment, research project development and management, project co-ordination with external academia and industry, and data interpretation services including biostatistics and bioinformatics.

Animals Models and Services

The Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics (TCP) is an innovative, scientific collaboration between four research hospitals to operate a centralized, state-of-the-art research-enabling mouse facility. We conduct and support genetic research involving generation of mutant mice, physiological phenotyping, behavioural analysis, imaging, pathology and cryopreservation for storage and distribution.
