Hormone Effects on Bone

There have been various studies involving different hormones in this laboratory. The effects of estrogen replacement, IGF-1, progesterone, vavadium and other hormones have been studied on animal models (primarily rodents) to determine such effects as changes in mechanical properties, bone mineralization, chemical composition and architechture.
