i have been in the Nagy lab for a long time and play the role of the overall lab organizer and book keeper. My work and duties are fun and at the same time challenging. This is a lab of an exceptional diversity in culture. One of my responsibilities is to make sure the smooth operation of our lab on a daily basis, and define SOPs in our wet lab and tissue culture.
My duties also involve the derivation of pluripotent stem cells (ES and iPS) from human sources. I actively contribute to the research undertaken to understanding human pluripotent stem cells that one day could lead to cure many degenerative diseases.
