I come from China. I received my MD and PhD from West China University of Medical Science in Chengdu, Sichuan. I spent almost 10 years studying retinoblastoma in China before joining the Toronto RB group in 1999. In the past, i pinpointed the cell-of-origin of murine retinoblastoma, and exposed surprising effects of E2floss on development, and I'm currently dissecting why specific cell type are cancer-resistant or cancer-prone in response to RB tumor suppressor loss
